Tennysons and Gaywood Road area


3 pairs of semi-detached houses. 2-storey, red brick, slate roofs with decorated ridge tiles. Fine cast-iron balconies, 2-storey canted bays with gable above and decorated bargeboards, pebble-dash panels between ground and first floors. 2-over-2 sash windows (original on Nos. 102 & 107 but others are uPVC). Slightly inset panelled doors with fanlights above. Glascoed in Kelly’s 1912, Dane House in 1916

An excellent example of a terrace of semi-detached houses with particularly fine detailing on cast-iron balconies and good timber detailing on gable-ends (Cf the Robert Whitmore houses: 101 Gaywood Road and 90 Wootton Road for similar features).
