Take care on uneven steps and ground. Enter from St Margaret’s Lane.
The 15th-century riverside warehouse forms the western range of Hampton Court and is accessed from St Margaret’s Lane. The river was where the garden is and the open arcaded front gave access to the warehouses. These arcades were filled in during the 17th century when the river moved westwards, but remains are evident today.
